TRDC extend deadline for Local Plan consultation

The TRDC Local Plan Additional Sites consultation deadline has been extended to 5pm on Thursday 30 March 2023. We believe the prime reason for this is because a key newsletter produced by the Council, providing information about the consultation, was not delivered to residents until after the original deadline of 10 March 2023. This extension gives residents an extra 20 days to respond so we urge anyone who hasn’t yet commented to get their comments sent in as soon as possible.

As already explained in other articles on this page, key additional site to comment on is site ref. CFS26e - Kings Langley Estate South - 380 new homes, on agricultural Green Belt land and please remember, this is in addition to the three Green Belt sites TRDC have already allocated to Kings Langley in an earlier Local Plan sites consultation.

If all the sites were to be developed, our village would increase by 1,354 new dwellings!

You can find more reasons to comment in our previous blog post. The more individual responses TRDC receive, the more they will take notice of residents’ views.

You can respond by email to: localplanconsult@threerivers.gov.uk

or by post to: Planning Policy, Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth, WD3 1RL

Please ensure you include your full name and address with your comments and send your comments to arrive by 5pm on Thursday 20th March 2023.
