Time is running out for you to comment on Dacorum’s and TRDC’s Local Plan consultations - Please respond now using our cheat sheet

As mentioned elsewhere in our blog section, both Council’s Local Plans have a significant effect on the future of Kings Langley.

Thankfully, both Councils have removed Green Belt sites in and around our village that were earmarked for significant numbers of new housing.

What we all need to do now is show our support for the Council’s new approaches, by responding positively to the consultations, so that when the plans reach the Inquiry stage, the Government Inspector will appreciate that this is what residents want. If little or no support is apparent, the Inspector may be persuaded by the developers’ arguments, to reinstate sites and we could once again be in a position where the Green Belt that defines our village is covered with more houses that our village infrastructure cannot cope with.

So please, do look at our cheat sheet here, which provides some example answers and respond to both Councils’ Local Plan consultations, before the deadlines:

Dacorum’s consultation ends at 23:59 on Monday 11 December 2023

TRDC’s consultation ends on Sunday 10 December 2023

Please submit your responses before these deadlines.
